Intake paperwork

You will be sent intake paperwork through my secure medical record, Charm. The paperwork is comprehensive and designed both to help you reflect on past experiences, strengths, and current pain points, as well as to give me a foundation to learn about you before we sit together at the initial appointment. This ensures our first session is comprehensive and personalized.

Initial Evaluation

This appointment will be conducted either in person at my Denver office or over Zoom. A 75-minute deep dive into your story — mind, hormones, and body. Together, we’ll review your history, labs, and current concerns to create an individualized treatment plan and roadmap for care.

Follow Up Sessions

We will use these appointments to catch up on how life is going and to see which interventions have been helpful and which have not been as successful. We will continue to fine tune and optimize the treatment plan. We may engage in brief psychotherapy or review lab work during follow up sessions.

RECLAIM YOUR WELL BEING WITH PERSONALIZED HEALTHCARE

Have You Been Wondering if There’s a Better Way?

🌸 What if instead of running on edge, you felt steady enough to let someone chew loudly next to you without plotting their demise?
✨ What if 3 AM wake-ups turned into actual sleep… instead of scrolling Zillow listings for farms in Vermont you’ll never buy?
💖 What if your connections with loved ones felt lighter, and you stopped snapping at your kids just for breathing too close to you?
🌷 What if you had the energy to thrive, instead of living on coffee and  your kids’ leftover goldfish?
💫 What if your workouts finally paid off — and you didn’t feel like the only one in the gym whose metabolism missed the memo?

Feel like something hormonal is going on?
You're probably right!

All too often I see women who have been dismissed within the traditional healthcare system, leaving them to feel like this is as good as it will get. Too often women hear their labs are “normal” with no further explanation, and no push to move from normal to optimal. At Tend to Her, I offer comprehensive, holistic services that provide women with the time and attention they deserve in the midst of hormonal chaos. For women struggling through hormonal flux, I will give you a clear path to feeling strong, empowered, and alive again.

With the right support, you can feel calm, energized, and confident in your body and mind. My treatment style combines science-backed treatments—psychiatry, hormones, nutrition, and wellness—for a complete reset.

FAQ

What types of patients do you work with?

I work with women 18 years or older. Most women who see me are experiencing psychiatric symptoms influenced by reproductive life transitions and/or hormonal changes. I specialize in PMDD, the perinatal period, and the menopause transition.

Do you take insurance?

I do not take private insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare. I do provide medical receipts or “super bills” after each appointment, which you can access through the patient portal. You can then submit this receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement. To find out what your policy covers, call the number on the back of your card and ask if you have out of network coverage for psychiatry and if so, what percentage of fees will be covered. Your insurance company may ask you about billing codes. These are the codes I commonly use:
  • Initial Evaluation: 99205 + 90833
  • 30 Min Follow Up: 99214 +/- 90833

How often will we meet?

Frequency depends on your goals, phase of care, and stability. Most patients start with follow-up visits every 4–6 weeks, with spacing adjusted as symptoms improve. Some prefer more frequent visits early on for extra support, and others transition to quarterly check-ins for maintenance.

What is your approach to treatment?

I believe in highly personalized and collaborative treatment. I completed a fellowship in reproductive psychiatry and have done a lot of training in integrative women's mental health over the years, always striving to combine the best of conventional and integrative medicine in my practice. I believe that patients achieve the best results  when we try to understand the root cause of psychiatric symptoms and offering an array of treatment options, including  pharmacotherapy, hormone replacement therapy recommendations for non-prescription supplements and botanicals, diet optimization, and mind-body practices.
